The award, presented by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) and U.S. Small Business Administration, was given as part of the MBDA’S Minority Enterprise Development Week conference (MED Week).
Mr. Lee was nominated by the executives from the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for his outstanding accomplishments and commitment to other Asian American businesses. He was introduced by Howard Li, MED Week co-chair and president and CEO of Waitex International Co.
“The advancement of minority owned business is an issue I hold close,” said Mr. Lee. “I am honored to be recognized, and admire the MBDA for its enduring commitment.”
