Reston, VA – June 14, 2012 – For the fifth consecutive year, STG, Inc. (STG) rose on Washington Technology’s list of the Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors. While STG has solidified itself as a fixture on the annual list, this year marked a significant jump of 12 from 2011 spots to land at number 76.
“STG had the biggest spike in its history,” said STG President and CEO Simon Lee. “Last year we rose 8 places. This year, 12. We continue to outpace our competitors and have sent a clear message to industry that the Government truly is turning to STG.”
STG again set records in terms of total revenue and revenue from prime contracts — its fifth consecutive year of double-digit growth and the 11th time in the past 10 years that revenue has increased. Washington Technology’s list, dubbed “the Big Dogs,” takes into account only prime contracts and does not factor in revenue received from subcontracting opportunities.
