Simon S. Lee
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lee emigrated to the United States from South Korea in 1979. Beginning his career as an engineer, Mr. Lee performed in senior technical positions with various technology firms in the DC area. By 1986, Mr. Lee founded STG as the Software Technology Group to address the growing demand for high quality, information technology (IT) support services.
His vision for the company came to realization in 1993 when the Department of State awarded STG its first large contract to develop the software for a global visa tracking system. By the mid-90s, STG had grown its presence in civilian and defense agencies, honing competencies in information assurance, telecommunications and systems integration.
Mr. Lee has led the company's evolution as a premier provider of performance-based solutions with customers spanning across government and industry.
Mr. Lee holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Korea University and a MS in Systems Engineering from the George Washington University .
